1.  Irrelevant Message

Your brain is programmed to help you survive and thrive.  It's why we remember where the food is in our house, but maybe not where we put our birth certificate.  The former is absolutely essential for surviving, the latter...not as much.  The fact that your grandpa started the company, your staff is friendly and knowledgeable, or that you're the area's best kept secret does not help your audience survive or thrive.  Your message must be relevant.  

2. Confusing/Unclear Message

If it takes too much time or effort to figure out who you are, what you offer, our how to get in touch with you, the audience will give up...easily.  Your message must be clear.  

3.  Weak Call to Action
